My work focuses on deep and lengthy explorations of a single guiding set of rules over a long period of time. I am fascinated with memory and how our perception of events can change and evolve over time (both short- and long-term). My interaction with my compositional rules, and my interpretations of them develop and evolve the longer I spend with them. By continuing to refine and improve on my core underpinnings, I am able to bring my work to a very high level of artistic existence.

This method of working allows me great freedom to evolve my work. On a microcosmic level, through continued improvisation within these guidelines, the work evolves amongst the performer. The longer a performer has been working with me the more familiar they are with my methods and the material itself, the more involved their improvisations can become.

Currently I am composing in two major projects: Doleo Æternus and works surrounding that piece, and Apparitions of The Four Pillars and subsets of that work.
