The second Avant Music Festival featuring the World Premiere of a new version of Apparitions of The Four Pillars and performances of work by John Cage plus a roundtable discussion with the festival composers.

Bookending the festival: Apparitions of The Four Pillars with Their Lowest Additive Primes as limited to the 3rd, 7th, 9th, and 11th New Primes chosen Cyclically, The Toll of Premonition, The Memorial Connector over the Outlying Primal Abyss, and The Mid-Winter Ending performed by:

On Saturday, February 12th, Gibson participates in a roundtable discussion with the festival composers, moderated by Megan Schubert.

On Saturday evening, Gibson will perform John Cage’s Indeterminacy with Ekmeles vocal ensemble performing Song Books as well as Two5 on piano with Will Lang on Trombone.
